Rockblade  Rock 868S

# Rockblade Rock 868S – Peak Winter Performance ## Engineered for Extreme Winter Conditions The Rockblade Rock 868S is built with an asymmetric tread pattern that delivers superior control and safety in snow, ice, and wet winter conditions. The outer side features a high-saturation design for enhanced handling and cornering stability, while the inner side includes wide grooves that efficiently channel water and slush, reducing hydroplaning and improving grip. ## Advanced Traction Through Innovative Design Equipped with zigzag longitudinal grooves, this winter tire creates a biting edge effect that grips snow-packed roads. The interlocking tread action continuously compresses and ejects snow, maintaining consistent traction. Multiple wide grooves (3–4 depending on tire size) ensure rapid evacuation of water, snow, and mud, significantly boosting skid resistance. A segmented continuous center rib enhances steering response and straight-line stability on slippery surfaces. The 3D zigzag sipe technology increases tread block rigidity and ensures even pressure distribution. High-density siping on the inboard side maximizes grip on ice and snow, while a slightly more open layout on the outboard side preserves dry-road handling. ## Cold-Weather Rubber Compound Thanks to a silica-enhanced compound, the tire remains flexible in temperatures as low as -40°C. This advanced formulation improves road conformity, expands the contact patch, and raises friction on icy roads, delivering shorter braking distances and safer winter driving in rain, snow, and slush..
