Michelin Collection  XAS

# Michelin Collection XAS – Legend of Precision and Balance ## A Pioneer in Asymmetrical Design The Michelin Collection XAS redefined tyre performance when it launched in 1965. As the world’s first tyre with an asymmetrical tread pattern, it was engineered to match the different demands placed on the inner and outer sides of a tyre—much like the human foot, which also functions asymmetrically. This innovative design delivers superior balance, enhanced stability, and precise handling. ## Engineered for Exceptional Performance Thanks to its advanced construction, the XAS offers outstanding road grip in all conditions, remarkable cornering stability, and confident control on bends. It was the first production tyre capable of sustaining speeds up to 210 km/h, making it a benchmark in high-speed performance. ## Born from Racing Heritage Due to its outstanding capabilities, the XAS quickly became a favorite in motorsport, being adopted in Formula France from 1968, as well as in circuit racing, rallying, and hill climbs. Its legacy lives on as a symbol of innovation and driving excellence..
